Recently, the
CPSIA, covering all products sold in the US intended for children under 12 years, temporarily delayed enforcement of the new legislation that requires all childrens products to submit to strict and expensive testing or bear crippling fines or legal charges. In less than one year small (and large) creators and producers of childrens goods will be in the same position that we are now. Thought I don't know about the rest of his politics (truly, I don't), I am totally
on board with these - US Senator Jim DeMint is proposing some fantastic amendments to the CPSIA legislation - and he needs our help to bring his amendments to the forefront of all US Senator's awareness.
Please forward
this information to your friends, families and colleagues in and around the US, and join in the effort to keep children's handmade products safe
and accessible.
Power to the people!
