Tomorrow our little family embarks on a short, sunny Okanagan holiday. We'll be celebrating a friend's wedding, visiting with Grandparents and swimming in many bodies of water (I hope!). I'll catch up with everyone when I'm back - next week, June 4th. Happy weekend, all!

Bamboletta, rubbing shoulders with the Stars
My friend Christina was featured with a deliciously favourable review on Celebrity Baby Blog today, and oh baby - that's an AWESOME compliment, and, as Christina herself says, gets her that one step closer to Brad Pitt.

Most of my readers are already faithful Bamboletta fans too, so this is probably old news to you, but I had to give a big shout out to Christina. Yay, Christina! And props to Devon of Tall Tree Photography, the official photographer of the Vancouver Island (Crafty) Stars.
xoxo Tressa

Cool Moms Know How to Pick 'em

Nancy at Kai Kids tweeted me this morning, "the CMP review is now up! It's a great one and they mention DMU :)" and that got me REALLY excited. I've been following Cool Mom Picks for almost 2 years. My relationship with blogs pretty much started by bookmarking CMP and visiting it every morning. It's one thing to read amazing product reviews every morning ... it's entirely another to be the subject of one. How fun that my lovely little organic Teething Bonbons are Mister & Miss May 20th.
Thanks, Nancy! Thanks, Kristen! And, readers visit my Etsy store for value sets - or take the discount code from CMP and go shopping on Kai Kids!

Wee Welcome, Vote for Me!
There's a fun Canadian parenting site out in the world wide web called Wee Welcome. The idea is that by joining (which is free) you are able to connect with other parents and children in your 'hood (or wider-city community). You also get invitations to helpful and friendly events - like how to use baby slings, stroller clinics, and natural baby products. And now Wee Welcome is also giving you the chance to vote for your favourite Parentpreneur - and hey, that's me! You have to sign up to vote, which may not be your cup of tea, but I'd appreciate oh so much your virtual support in this lovely contest.

Details are here: Parent Power Contest
My listing is here: Teething Bonbon a.k.a. Tressa Brotsky

Feel free to forward this on and on and on to all of your peeps, I could definitely use the 20 grand in advertising, and a little family get away. :)

Away with the (eco) Pixies
Last night we had a bit of a reunion - good friends who have been away from the country and a special auntie & uncle came over for one of Nathaniel's famous Thai Curry dinners, and a healthy dose of little person entertainment from our Lil R. It was such a lovely evening, a proper dinner party ... until I pulled out the bags and bags of half completed Teething Bonbons and set down to work.

I have just under 500 Teething Bonbons prepped for EP!C and my goal is to sell out. It's really, really exciting for folks to be able to buy from the mama-producer herself - and I'm excited to be part of EP!C so that I meet a wider-scope of customers face to face. Please tell your friends and family, and network of peeps about the show, and invite them to come on down to see me at Booth M8.
I'm going to be away from blogger land for the next 6 or 8 days - even though I love the idea of Twittering and blogging from the tradeshow floor, I don't have the technology to do it (yet!). If you leave a comment here or send an email, I will be following up with both after May 13th - fabric inquiries included!
Before I sign off I want to give a huge, huge thank you to the amazing mama-craftswomen who have been helping me to prepare for EP!C. Cathy, Mercedes, Katie, Emma, Cora and Amie, I thank you! I also am deeply appreciative for our amazing childcare provider, Chriss, and her gentle gift of working so effectively, patiently and inspirationally with young children, and our Lil R.
Have a great weekend everyone, and wish me luck!

Well folks, it's all happening - EP!C is only 3 days away and I'm feeling pretty ready (knock on wood). Big congratulations to Maria of Vancouver who won the give away - 2 tickets to EP!C are on their way to her.

Getting ready - stock piling stock.
Hope to see you all there! Remember, Booth M8. The organic soft toy spy booth. ;)

Moss Street (Wind Tunnel) Market
(Last day to enter for EP!C tix, closes noon tomorrow, May 3rd! Details here.)
Today's first full Moss Street Market day was a blast! I had so much fun catching up with folks who I haven't seen since last season, reconnecting with my lovely customers and meeting tons of new people. We've got amazing new Vendors at the Market this year, it is so cool to see how the Market community is growing and transforming - goods all made, baked or grown by the person selling at the booth!

It was an INSANELY windy day - still is, actually. And I was a little bit concerned about how my spectacular display unit would hold up to the gusts. But I didn't have to worry - my dad knows how to build 'em, the thing didn't budge! Many of my products were blown around though ... at least they are soft and squishy causing minimal damage. ;)
Nathaniel and Little R. came to the Market mid-morning by bus and foot, and R. was mighty chuffed to be back in the throes of it. She wore her new Market pants, stuffed her face with samosas and was a non-stop dance machine to the down home stylin's of Three Wide Men and Jennifer Louise Taylor. She also spent some time on Charlotte's (TulaBee) mat being a caterpillar. Awesome.

Next weekend, I'm away at EP!C Sustainable Living Expo in Booth M8 - I am so EXCITED and a teeny bit nervous; it's going to be an incredible event. Maybe I'll see you there? If not, make it Sat May 16th, back at the Moss Street Market.
