If this doesn't take you back to the late 80s/early 90s, then clearly you weren't living your teen years in the Okanagan, working after school stuffing flyers into the local paper, spending summers cliff jumping and sun tanning, staying up to make tapes from late night CBC radio, doing your hair like Robert Smith, and yearning to be best friends with Caitlin and Spike, alternately.

That was then, this is now: The Grapes of Wrath are kicking off their 2009 renuion tour at the Organic Islands Festival + Green Living Expo. Catch them on the Main Stage Sunday afternoon. I wonder if I'll be able to see them from The Lookout?

I am having a total flashback here. And I wanted to be friends with the twins, Erica and Heather. Although I don't remember why anymore. :)
I remember vividly the episode where one twin went slutty (the tube top! lipstick! long earrings!) and the other stayed true ... well, I guess that what I remember is actually the outfit. That tube top rocked.
um, the grapes of wrath was my first concert ever! i still have a photo of me and tom hooper after the show. sigh...
